South Ossetian Ambassador to Russia Znaur Gassiev held a working meeting with Mikhail Pogosyan, Rector of the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI).

The agenda included the prospect of offering undergraduate and graduate programs to applicants from South Ossetia at one of the leading Russian Institute.

Rector of MAI assured the Ambassador of the Institute's readiness to provide comprehensive support in training specialists for South Ossetia.

Thousands of South Ossetian residents gathered on Sunday at the Pris Heights at the entrance to Tskhinval to mark the 36th anniversary of the start of the national liberation struggle and the Day of Courage and National Unity.

A farewell ceremony was held in Tskhinval for Soslan Kozaev, known by the call sign "Bars," who had heroically died while serving in the line of duty in the special military operation zone.

South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev met with First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko in Moscow.

According to Gagloev's press Secretary, Natalya Bosikova, the South Ossetian leader is in the Russian capital on a working visit.

During the meeting, the key issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, with particular attention paid to the major reconstruction of the Lower Zaramag checkpoint.

The search for the missing special military operation participants from South Ossetia will continue. All requests from South Ossetia will be processed as thoroughly as possible, Vitaly Nazarenko, member of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Self-Government, and Northern Affairs, stated during a video conference in Tskhinval.

He has the emphasized that from the very beginning of the special military operation, the people of South Ossetia supported Russia, expressing profound gratitude for this.

The 32nd consolidated report of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, "Conflict in Georgia," like previous documents, conveys a biased approach to the objective and impartial presentation of the situation in South Ossetia. This was stated in a commentary by the representative of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry.

The report was considered on November 18 at the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

The events dedicated to the Day of Courage and National Unity will be held in South Ossetia. The Republican commission for the preparation and holding of the national events told IA "Res" that the Republic's educational institutions would hold thematic lessons and extracurricular activities dedicated to this day on November 21-22.
