Alan Gagloev and Sergey Nazarov discussed the socio-economic development of South Ossetia

South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev held a working meeting with Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Sergey Nazarov, who had arrived in Tskhinval on a working visit.

The meeting was also attended by Alan Alborov, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Republic of South Ossetia; Andrey Yumshanov, General Director of Jthe SC Kavkaz.RF; and Marat Kulakhmetov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of South Ossetia.

Alan Gagloev welcomed the guests.

"The ECHR has signed off on its own incompetence": South Ossetian Foreign Ministry on awarding Georgia compensation

The long-discredited European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has taken yet another biased step, upholding Georgia's case against Russia and awarding the aggressor, recognized by the European Union's International Commission, €253 million in compensation for the alleged human rights violations related to the 2008 conflict. This was stated in a statement by the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry.

As noted by the Ministry, this extremely biased and politicized decision, which fully reflects the organization's "level of justice," best demonstrates the true face of Europe.

Russian investors will inspect promising project sites in South Ossetia

Representatives of the JSC Kavkaz.RF and Russian investors arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit.

The guests were met in the village of Ruсk by Minister of Economic Development Sarmat Kotaev, South Ossetia's trade representative in Russia Taimuraz Goginov, Chairman of the National Bank Soslan Bekoev, representatives of the Russian Embassy in the Republic, and other officials.

Tunnel Vision Syndrome: South Ossetian Foreign Ministry has condemned the UN Human Rights Council Resolution

The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry issued a harsh commentary on the adoption of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) resolution "Cooperation with Georgia" in Geneva on October 8.

The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry called the document a manifestation of "political myopia" and a loss of objectivity.

The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry expressed regret that "a once authoritative international body has begun to suffer from tunnel vision syndrome, trampling on its own traditions and statutory principles, and has completely lost objectivity, impartiality, and professionalism."

South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev reported to President Alan Gagloyev on his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov

South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev reported to President Alan Gagloyev on the results of his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The diplomats' working meeting took place in Sochi on October 1.

According to Dzhioev, the talks were productive.

"The meeting, as usual, took place in a warm atmosphere. We discussed the full range of bilateral relations and touched on various topics of interagency cooperation," he said.

Dzhioev placed particular emphasis on the gratitude and positive assessments conveyed by the Russian Minister.

A telephone conversation took place between South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev and First Deputy Secretary of Security Council of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliev.

During the conversation, the head of state congratulated Rashid Nurgaliev on his birthday, noting his significant contribution to the development and strengthening of friendly and strategic relations between Russia and South Ossetia.

Nurgaliev's role in ensuring security and stability in the region, as well as in promoting deeper cooperation at various levels, was particularly emphasized.

South Ossetia will participate in the International Media Seminar in Moscow

Media representatives from South Ossetia and the CIS will participate in the prestigious international seminar for heads and journalists of news agencies and media outlets from the CIS countries.

The event, organized by Russia's leading news agency TASS, will be holding in Moscow from October 13 to 19.

As part of the comprehensive program, the participants, including Maria Meleshikhina, a journalist of the South Ossetian news agency "Res," will gain an insight into the work of one of the largest media outlets – TASS.

South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev and the head of the ICRC mission in the Republic, Said Assadullah, discussed a number of practical issues related to the implementation of the mission's humanitarian projects, the Foreign Ministry's press service reports.
