Three Georgian citizens, who were detained earlier in the territory of South Ossetia for illegal crossing the state border, have been transferred today to the Georgian authorities.

As reported to IA "Res" by the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia, the citizens of Georgia Shota Makharashvili, Georgy Maryamidze and Otar Dzhovakhi returned to their homeland.
"Today, three citizens of Georgia, who were serving sentence for illegal crossing of the state border, have been extradited to the Georgian authorities in accordance with the resolution of amnesty, adopted by South Ossetian Parliament, and the presidential charter of pardon of the citizens of Georgia ", - has informed the KGB of the RSO.
They specified that the extradition had taken place at the border of South Ossetia and Georgia, near the Georgian village of Ergneti.
