A meeting between South Ossetian Ambassador to Russia Znaur Gassiev and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Syrian Arab Republic in the Russian Federation Dr.Abdulrazak Ismail was held in Moscow.
The meeting was held in pursuance of President Alan Gagloev's instruction to intensify cooperation between the two states, the Embassy's press service reports.
"During the conversation, the parties confirmed their mutual commitment to further development of the South Ossetian-Syrian interstate dialogue and agreed to continue working contacts between the diplomatic missions," the press service has noted.
The diplomatic mission has added that the meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
