The armed forces of South Ossetia are not conducting any maneuvers near the border villages of Znaur district. This has been reported to IA "RES" by the press service of Defense Ministry of South Ossetia, commenting on the Georgian media information about the shooting near the border villages of Okona, Khaebaelata (South Ossetia) and Knolevi (Georgia).
"At the moment the Ministry of Defense of South Ossetia is not conducting any maneuvers, including the movement of military equipment in this district. The militants are serving according to the schedule", - has been stressed at the press service of Defense Ministry.
They added that the situation at the border of South Ossetia was calm; not any fire or other emergency situation has been fixed.
Earlier, the Georgian media information about the shooting at the border has also been denied by the KGB of South Ossetia.
