Parliament of South Ossetia is concerned about the visit of representatives of the "expert community of Georgia" to the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania. This is stated in a statement of the Presidium of the Parliament of the Republic.
"We believe that under the Law of Georgia "On the occupied territories" the current event is a part of the program "Involvement through Cooperation" to implement the goals and objectives, approved by the Georgian Parliament, aimed at "reintegration" of South Ossetia into the Georgian state" – is said in the statement.
According to the Mps, the organizers of this meeting must understand that under the conditions of the unwillingness of the Georgian authorities to give a political and legal assessment of the bloody acts of aggression against the people of South Ossetia, committed by the Georgian state and their public statement on restoring "the territorial integrity of Georgia," they act in line with the interests of the authorities of this country, with prejudice to the interests of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation.
