ICRC mission in South Ossetia has been supporting the large families in the implementation of micro-projects

The mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in South Ossetia has been supporting the low-income large families in the implementation of micro projects.
As IA "Res" was reported by a spokesperson of the ICRC mission in South Ossetia Marina Tedety, "as a result of last year's assessment of the living conditions of large families in South Ossetia, the ICRC mission selected potential participants in the program of microeconomic initiatives, which allows the families to provide a small but steady income."

The ICRC assistance within the framework of the micro-economic initiatives is in the free of charge acquisition of the necessary equipment and other facilities.
The spokesperson has clarified that the large families are supported in consideration of the real abilities of the adult members of the families to implement the projects.
"Recently have been assisted three large families in Dzau district of South Ossetia. A family from the village of Mskhleb has been presented an oven for a mini-bakery. Another family in Dzau was presented the materials for construction of a greenhouse and the family in the village of Tsru was bought the equipment for a clothing mini- factory, "- said Tedety.
According to her, three more large families living in Tskhinval were also provided assistance.
"For one family were purchased materials for construction of a greenhouse. The other two families received respectively the equipment for implementation of micro-projects on the organization of the ready-made cooking and carpentry workshop,"- continued the spokesperson.
She has noted that in the coming days several more large families living in Tskhinval, will be also provided similar assistance.
