Agreements signed in Moscow on the procedure for providing financial assistance and support for investment activities, as well as on the procedure for providing financial assistance for socio-economic development are of great importance for South Ossetia, said President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov.
“The implementation of the provisions of the signed documents is directly related to improving the quality of life of residents of the Republic,” said Anatoly Bibilov in a comment to IA “Res.”
Bibilov has expressed his gratitude to the Russian leadership for the fact that in a pandemic, and therefore, additional burden on the budget, the Investment program and budget investments in South Ossetia, however, are receiving the funding.
“South Ossetia, for its part, will do everything possible so that today's difficult conditions do not affect the timely construction of the Investment Program facilities, which makes a great contribution to the country's social and economic development,” the head of state emphasized.
It should be reminded that in Moscow an Agreement was signed on the procedure for providing financial assistance to the Republic of South Ossetia in order to make budget investments and support investment activities, and an Agreement on the procedure for providing financial assistance for the socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia.
The documents provide for the provision by the Russian Federation of free financial assistance to the Republic of South Ossetia in order to make budget investments and supporting the investment activities in the framework of the implementation of the Investment programs, as well as assistance for the socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia.
