At the next round of the Geneva discussions, the South Ossetian party will again raise the issue of the non-use of force and will seek important steps in this direction,” said Presidential Envoy, head of the South Ossetian delegation at the discussions, Murat Dzhioev.

According to him, the signing of a legally binding document on the non-use of force between South Ossetia and Georgia, Abkhazia and Georgia is remaining important, but the non-constructive position of the Georgian delegation hinders progress in this direction.

“Nevertheless, we believe that working in this direction should be continued, since everyone needs security, and we, all the more, need guarantees that Georgia will henceforth renounce its claims to the territory of South Ossetia and the threat of the use of force,” said Dzhioev ...

The Plenipotentiary has specified that this issue will again be on the agenda of the next round of discussions.

The South Ossetian delegation drew the attention of the co-chairs to the fact that the Geneva process could not continue for so long without results.

“In South Ossetia and in other countries participating in the negotiations, real results are expected,” he said.
