“I am proud that I witnessed the formation of the Donetsk People's Republic in 2014 on May 11, when a referendum was held here. I am proud that South Ossetia recognized the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, I am proud that today I see the developing Donetsk People's Republic.
I have always believed and still believe that Donbass is an Ossetian, Cossack, Serb and representatives of other nationalities who stood shoulder to shoulder to declare themselves and say that they have chosen their path. And, in the end, Donbass is Russia,” President of the Republic of South Ossetia emphasized in his speech.
