Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma a bill on the ratification of an agreement between Russia and South Ossetia on the mutual recognition of the length of service of servicemen, follows from the electronic database of the lower house of the parliament.
"To ratify the agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia on the procedure for calculating the length of service for assigning a monthly long-service bonus for length of service for military personnel undergoing military service under a contract, and for establishing the amount of the monthly long-service bonus for length of service when calculating the pension to persons dismissed from military service, signed in the city of Moscow on February 10, 2021, "the bill says.
The document was signed by South Ossetian Defense Minister Ibragim Gasseev and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
