The international literary prize "Bulæmærg" was established in 2016 by the Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia and the leadership of the Stroytsentr company to popularize the Ossetian language in order to search for and encourage the authors of literary works, writing in the Ossetian language, who can make a significant contribution to the Ossetian literature.
Over the years of existence of the "Bulæmærg" prize, many talented authors from both parts of Ossetia, as well as representatives of foreign Ossetian diasporas, have become its laureates. The award has become a unique platform for the possibility of self-realization for all writers in the Ossetian language.
