Representative of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in South Ossetia, a researcher at the Department of Economics of the South Ossetian Research Institute Vyacheslav Dzhabiev took part in the online round table "Fundraising of the new time", which was held in Moscow.
As Dzhabiev told IA "Res", the event was held by the international union of non-governmental organizations "Assembly of Eurasian Peoples".
"The agenda of the round table included the issues of strategies and methods of fundraising, as well as the directions of donors for resource support for projects. The round table was also held online," he said.
Discussion of fundraising strategies and methods, directions of fundraising donors, donor motivation, creative fundraising, useful educational materials became the main items on the agenda of the event.
"The following issues were brought up for discussion: the presidential fund for cultural initiatives, the specifics of applying for a competition; fundraising and crowdfunding, as the attraction of the third-party resources to implement projects and support the ongoing activities, etc.," said Vyacheslav Dzhabiev.
As noted by the scientist, the topics for discussion found a lively response among the numerous participants of the round table, and an exchange of views took place.
The round table was attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Australia. The speakers were Igor Sobolev, First Deputy Director General of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, Elmira Shcherbakova, President of the Foundation for Social Initiatives "Peace and Harmony", Irina Menshenina, Executive Director of the Association of Fundraisers, and others.
