Roland Tedeev, Chairman of the Children's Fund of South Ossetia, spoke about his participation in the event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the creation of a specialized all-Russian charitable organization in Moscow.
“Delegations from different regions of Russia and neighboring countries, representatives of charitable foundations from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and charitable organizations from China took part in the celebration of the anniversary last week. As for our foundation, it is a member of the International Association of Children's Funds since 2013. We have been closely cooperating with the profile organization in Russia for many years,” Tedeev said.
He has noted that at the anniversary festival he conveyed to the heroes of the day the congratulatory address of the President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev with words of gratitude for the help provided to the children of South Ossetia after the August 2008 events.
“During the event, the festival “Childhood Volunteers - the Pride of Russia” was launched, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the creation of a charitable organization. Its leader, Dmitry Likhanov, read out a greeting of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, noting that their activities are aimed at strengthening the institution of the family, supporting children in difficult life situations,” Tedeev said.
According to him, Russian politician Sergei Mironov, Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova and others spoke at the anniversary.
The Children's Fund of South Ossetia, headed by Roland Tedeev, is a non-state, non-profit fund, its main source of property formation is voluntary contributions and donations from citizens, organizations and institutions. Its main purpose is: to help orphans, disabled children, the sick, children from large and low-income families who need the support and protection of society, support for young talents, assistance in social adaptation in the family and in the society after the end of the school period of life, etc.
