Head of the Department of Biology, Head of the Biomedical Research Laboratory of the South Ossetian State University, Professor Taimuraz Kokoev will take part in the first International Symposium on New Energy and Environment, which will be held on "Chejudo" Island in South Korea. This was reported to the Res news agency by Kokoev himself.
According to the professor, he plans to send a summary of his report to the organizers of the event and take part in the scientific forum online.
"The event will be held from September 21-22," he said.
As noted by Taimuraz Kokoev, he also received an invitation from the editor-in-chief of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Sciences of Singapore, Joan Estrani, to head one of the sections of the Section Collection project as an editor.
“The project is a collection of articles on interdisciplinary topics and consists of 10 sections. Among them are "Plant Protection", "Animal Science", "Agro economics and Environment", "Food Science", "Agricultural Economics and Management", etc. I agreed to lead the plant protection section, specifically fungal plant diseases (phytopathology).
The professor, in turn, considers the invitation to participate in the work of the South Korean International Symposium and the leadership of the section of the new project in Singapore, first of all, as the opportunity for the science of South Ossetia to declare itself at the world level.
The scientist pays special attention to the "respectable position of the countries of South and Southeast Asia, expressed in the rejection of the trend of unmotivated politicization of science that is currently widespread in the West."
It should be reminded that the scientist has already received similar invitations, in particular, to participate in the III World Conference "Plant Biology - 2021", held in Japan, international conferences on engineering and advanced innovative technologies in Taiwan (2022), etc.
