South Ossetia is seeing another hero on his last journey.
A .participant of the special military operation, Genrikh Gyulerovich Kasaev, who went missing in January, was found dead. His body was delivered to Tskhinval on Saturday morning.
The body was identified by DNA analysis.
Genrikh Kasaev was fighting courageously and bravely and perished during fierce battles near the village of Avdiivka.
The platoon in which Kasaev was serving got surrounded. The family was living all these months only hoping for a miracle, but....
Genrikh served in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia. For the promotion of patriotism and perpetuating the memory of the OMON of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia perished during the Georgian aggression, climbing the Mount Halatsa and setting the flag of the OMON of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was awarded the medal "For Combat Commonwealth".
The funeral will take place on June 5 in Tskhinval, 31 Heroes Street.
