The bloody five-day war in the history of South Ossetia is the common pain of the entire Ossetian people, it will forever remain in the memory of each of us. This is stated in the telegram of condolences from the Chairman of the Parliament of North Ossetia, Taimuraz Tuskaev, to President Alan Gagloev in connection with the 15th anniversary of the tragic events of August 2008.
Tuskaev has stressed that relations between the fraternal republics have always been distinguished by mutual support.
“On this sad date, we share the bitterness of the loss of relatives and friends of those who died as a result of Georgian aggression,” the telegram says.
He has noted that the past fifteen years have become a time of transformation, strengthening statehood and dynamic development of South Ossetia in all areas.
“The Republic has been building a peaceful creative life and, most importantly, educating worthy youth, instilling in them true feelings of patriotism and love for their native land,” said the head of the North Ossetian Parliament.
Taimuraz Tuskaev wished all the South Ossetian people peace, prosperity and new beginnings for the benefit of their Motherland.
