Representatives of multinational Russia and its friendly countries today, like brothers, are together defending a common culture and values, protecting the republics of Donbass, President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev noted during the meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Ingushetia Vladimir Slastenin.
The delegation of Ingushetia visited the republic to participate in the events on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of Recognition of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation.
“Today is not an easy time, and the enemy is the same, and we must confront it,” the President said. I am grateful to you for taking the time to come to the celebration of the Day of Recognition of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation, we have seen how you were sincerely rejoicing during the celebrations together with our people.”
Vladimir Slastenin thanked the head of state for the invitation to visit the festivities and wished the Republic further development and prosperity.
“Our elders were very wise when they signed the Treaty on joining Russia; this allowed us to preserve our culture and language. God grant that you also keep all this and multiply it."
