Georgia is trying in every possible way to avoid signing a document on the non-use of force, said Konstantin Kochiev, State Advisor President of the Republic of South Ossetia, head of the working group at the Geneva discussions, during the Moscow-Sukhum-Tskhinval video bridge on the Sputnik - South Ossetia platform.

He has noted that South Ossetia has been working on this issue for a long time, “but so far it has not been possible to come to any results.”

Kochiev has reminded that there was a period when Georgia practically agreed to sign this document, but eventually it again refused.

“The Geneva discussions are a process that is designed to ensure stability and security. Today we see that it is being ensured,” he said.

Kochiev has positively assessed the work of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia.
