The Embassy provides figures on the number of citizens who took part in the elections taking into account early voting.
Voting in the Russian presidential election is on its third day. Sunday is the main voting day.
Russian citizens living in South Ossetia are given the opportunity to exercise their right to vote at 11 polling stations, and another station is operating for Russian military personnel.
Russian citizens can vote for one of four candidates: current President Vladimir Putin, Communist Party member Nikolai Kharitonov, the LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky or the State Duma Deputy Chairman from the New People party Vladislav Davankov.
