Performers from South Ossetia will become participants in the International Festival of Arts “Slavic Bazaar”, which is traditionally held in the Republic of Belarus, Igor Tasoev, head of the culture, youth and sports department of the Capitals’s administration, told the "Res " news agency.

According to him, the festival will be held in 2020 in Vitebsk (Belarus), and the work is currently underway to establish contacts with the organizers of the “Slavic Bazaar” festival.

South Ossetian President Anatoly Bibilov inspected the new embassy building in Moscow during his visit to the capital of the Russian Federation, the embassy’s press service reports.

The President inspected the building, the repairs being carried out, the territory and was pleased with the progress of the work being completed.

Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia, Znaur Gassiev, was awarded the medal “In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Republic of South Ossetia”, the embassy’s press service reports. The high award was presented by President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, the ceremony took place on September 30, in Moscow.

The Ambassador was awarded "for a great contribution to the implementation of the foreign policy of the Republic of South Ossetia, long-term conscientious work and professionalism".

President of South Ossetian Anatoly Bibilov congratulated the Abkhaz colleague Raul Khadjimba and the people of Abkhazia on the Day of Liberation and Victory of the Republic in the Patriotic War II, the press service of the head of state reports.
