President Anatoly Bibilov sent a telegram of condolences to President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic in connection with the death of the Patriarch of Serbia, Metropolitan Irenaeus of Belgrade-Karlovsk.

The telegram reads, in part:

“With a feeling of deep sorrow, South Ossetia received the news of the death of His Holiness Patriarch Irenaeus.

As of the morning of November 20, 155 people are in the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center (RMMC) of South Ossetia in the "red zone", 46 more patients are being treated at the Russian military hospital in Tskhinval. This was reported to IA "Res" by the chief infectious disease specialist of the Republic, Eleonora Dzhioeva.
