41 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected in South Ossetia in a day

During the day, 125 studies were carried out in the PCR laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee; 41 were new cases of COVID-19 infection, in total, 1221 people fell ill during the opening of the border with the Russia (September 15), the Republic's chief sanitary doctor Marina Kochieva told IA "Res".

“Another 21 people have been removed from the register of doctors, and 155 patients have recovered since mid-September,” Kochieva said.

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation discussed security issues with representatives of the EU and OSCE on the South Caucasus

On Friday Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko discussed with the co-chairs of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia – the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar and the OSCE Representative for the South Caucasus Rudolf Mikhalka security issues in the region, in particular the situation in the Georgian-Abkhaz and Georgian-South Ossetian borders.
