On April, 27th, 2007 the Georgian mass-media have spread the information about the ostensibly taken place shooting of the machines of the police of Georgia in the evening on April, 26th and in the morning on April, 27th in the area to the north-east of the Georgian village Avnevi on the site between the settlements Avnevi and Nikozi. Thus it has been declared about the carrying out at the place of the incident of "studying of the circumstances of the event » by the group of military observers of JPKF and the officers of the mission of OSCE. We were informed about it by the assistant of the commander of JPKF in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict, the captain Vladimir Ivanov.

On April, 28th, 2007 from 10.30am till 12.30pm the tripartite military observers from the structure JPKF together with the Mission of OSCE have held a monitoring in the area of the village Avnevi.
