The South Ossetian Media-Center "IR" launched a journalist contest for best coverage of Russian-South Ossetia cooperation. As the Media Center President Irina Gagloeva reported to IA RES, the purpose of the contest is to activate the participation of printed media in covering public opinion on priority issues in Russian-South Ossetia cooperation.
"We must attract attention of wide public, political, state and business structures to the process of Russian-South Ossetian cooperation", she noted. According to the Contest terms of reference, representatives of printed media officially registered on the territory of the Republic, independent journalists, South Ossetian State University journalism faculty students can participate. The Contest will results in nomination of best journalism faculty student, best professional journalist and best article on Russian-South Ossetia relations. Separate works, or thematic compilations, series of materials of one or several authors may be presented for the Contest. The contest admits works published between 26 August 2010 and 26 August 2011.
