The statement of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia Grigol Vashadze that his country does not intend to leave a format of the Geneva discussions is «the next trick of the Georgian leadership». It has been declared the news agency "Res» by the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on the post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev. «It turns out that Vashadze hasn`t known about the announcement of his assistant Sergey Kapanadze that Georgia does not see any sense in participating in the Geneva discussions any more. Kapanadze cites as if Russia carries out some acts of terrorism against Georgia», - the Plenipotentiary has said. He has noticed that the similar statement were made by the Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia, the head of the Georgian delegation in a format of the Geneva discussions Giga Bokerija who, however, has denied subsequently his own words.

«Most likely, they made these statements, without having consulted with Washington and then they got into hot water”, - Chochiev has declared. - And it is typical for the Georgian leadership - not be able to recognize its errors and slips». Chochiev has reminded that despite the conclusion of the Taljavini commission, Georgia does not want to recognize hitherto its fault in unleashing the war in August, 2008. « The ex-president of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze has recently declared that the films like " Five days of August "any more will not change the report of the EU commission where is told that the first military operations were launched by the Georgians, having attacked Tskhinval», - Chochiev has reminded. Thereby, according to the Plenipotentiary, Shevardnadze has spoilt Tbilisi all the game. «However, it is a characteristic feature of the Georgian mentality to try dodging the questions and renounce its words. They cannot leave it even at level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia», - the Plenipotentiary has underlined. Let’s remind, on June, 15 at the press conference in Tbilisi the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Grigol Vashadze has announced that official Tbilisi did not declare about its intention to stop its participation in the negotiations in Geneva on preventing tension in the Caucasus.
