Children's rehabilitation center will be built in the capital of South Ossetia. As the Minister of Health and Social Development of South Ossetia Otarbeg Gassiev has informed IA "Res", construction of this facility is part of the investment program of promoting socio-economic development of South Ossetia.
"Currently, construction works are in the process of laying the foundation. Children's Rehabilitation Center will be a day hospital stay for up to 30 beds, "- said the Minister. According to him, the center will provide free of charge treatment for children suffering from various diseases - cerebral palsy, post-stroke syndrome, post-traumatic disorders, musculoskeletal system, etc." Volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, swimming pool will also be built at the center. The Draft Health Center has been prepared by specialists from St. Petersburg; the local building organization is engaged in the construction"- Gassiev has added. According to the minister, construction of the center is scheduled for completion by 2012.
