Born on June 17, 1955 in the settlement Agara (the Georgian SSR). He left the Tbilisi secondary school № 133.From 1972 to 1976 he is a student of the North Ossetian State Medical Institute. From 1976 to 1978 he is a student of the Military Medical School in Gorky. From 1978 to 1987 – a Chief Medical Officer aboard the special Pacific Fleet. From August 1987 to December 1990 – a Chief Medical Officer in the Democratic People's Republic of Ethiopia. From April 1991 to October 1992 he is the Deputy Commander of the medical detachment of Special Forces. From October 1992 to date he is a head of the hospital aboard the Pacific Fleet ship "Irtysh". Since 2009 he is the Chairman of the Board of Public Maritime Organization Ossetian diaspora "Ossetia", the President of the Primorye Regional Office of the All-Ossetian people's movement "Stir Nykhas", North Ossetia-Alania.
