The Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is implementing a project to provide micro-economic initiatives.

As IA "Res" has been informed by the assistant of the head of the ICRC office in Tskhinval Wanda Bolotaeva, this project is aimed at improving the social conditions of the most vulnerable citizens of South Ossetia.
"We are considering certain families, assessing their economic conditions and their earning capacity. If they need support, we help them, "- said Bolotaeva.
She has added that this project is aimed at increasing agricultural production, so that eachfamily could provide themselves with all the necessary food.
"At the request of the citizens we are providing them with bee families, cows or tractors. There were cases when a family required providing them with a personal tractor. It is very convenient, of course, but we are not able to supply each family with such machinery. If some families are willing to join together, we are ready to consider their appeal and give one tractor for a few families, so they can use it in turn "- said Bolotaeva.
She has noted that at the moment the mission is intending to support with this project the residents of Zivlet and Artsevi.
"In whole, we help people to cope with their social needs, so that after the war, life could be easier for them", - concluded Bolotaeva.
It should be noted that the ICRC has been regularly providing assistance to the most vulnerable citizens of South Ossetia.
