An athlete fromTskhinval Akhsar Tadtaev has reached the semifinal of the Russian Thai boxing Championship among the athletes born in 1997 - 1998.

As the coach of the athlete Gennady Martirosov told IA "Res", "in the battle for the semi-final tournament Tadtaev met in the ring with a representative of the Murmansk team. According to the coach, in the semi-final battle Tadtaev met in the ring with an experienced athlete from Kemerovo.
"Thai boxing is practiced in Kemerovo for about 20 years. During this time, in Kemerovo emerged a very strong school of Thai Boxing - one of the strongest in Russia, it has produced a lot of winners of the world-class tournaments. This is a real forge of champions. And here, in North Ossetia, Thai boxing appeared only in 2008, - added Martirosov. – So, Tadtaev will face a very difficult battle with a well-trained fighter - a disciple of such a strong school of Thai boxing."
It should be noted, that currently Tadtaev is living in Vladikavkaz and is supporting the team of North Ossetia. He is a candidate for master of sports. The athlete is trained by the North Ossetian Thai Boxing Federation coaches Gennady Martirosov and Verdi Tariev.
