The delegation of the South Ossetian leadership has attended today the XI International Investment Forum "Sochi-2012".
As the news agency "Res" was informed by the press secretary of the President of South Ossetia Ghana Yanovskaya, the President Leonid Tibilov accompanied by the Prime Rostislav Khugaev and Economic Development Minister Zalina Khugati had visited the South Ossetian Pavilion. Deputy Minister of Economic Development of South Ossetia Inna Grunwald told the head of state about the presented projects.
"We have presented two investment projects - plant on producing basalt continuous fiber and reinforcement, based on it, and the plant project for production of solar modules, which will allow to produce cheap electricity withthe environmentally clean modules" - said the Deputy Minister.
Grunwald has added that in the pavilion are also presented three films about South Ossetia and some booklets about the tourism development and manufacturing in the country.
The Deputy Minister has noted that the South Ossetian stand is popular among the participants of the forum; special interest has been aroused by the manufacturing projects.
The President has noted the importance of participation of South Ossetia in the forum "Sochi-2012", adding that in this way more countries will learn about the Republic.
"South Ossetia has great potential and resources for economic development", - said Tibilov.
Currently, representatives of the South Ossetian leadership are participating in the plenary session.
