The Russian interagency working group, led by Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev has arrived today in South Ossetia. The guests met with the RSO President Leonid Tibilov in the capital of South Ossetia. The meeting was also attended by members of the government of South Ossetia.
This has been reported to IA "Res" by a press secretary of the head of state Ghana Yanovskaya.

Leaders of the Republic and members of the Russian delegation traveled to the town of Kvaisa in Dzausky district of South Ossetia, where they met with the administration of the town and the staff of the mining administration which had not been functioning since 1997. As stressed by Rashid Nurgaliyev, this was his fifth visit to South Ossetia, and with each visit he noted the obvious trends of socio-economic development.
"I have underlined this, because I have the opportunity to see the difference before and after each of my visit. As to the mine and your suggestions, the most important thing is that there are still human resources here. We should devise a project with the concrete proposals to revive the mine, "- said the Russian official.
A director of the mine Tengiz Bazzaev told the guests that the mine had been producing zinc and lead concentrates.
"There are two mines - in Kvaisa and the Upper mine. It includes almost the entire periodic table of the elements. Formerly here were working 500 - 700 people, "- said Bazzaev.
The former head of the mine and an old resident of Kvaisa Mukhar Margiev told the guests that the town had been founded along with the opening of the mine.
"Today people want to work, and the ore reserves are huge here," - said Margiev.
According to the Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Rostislav Khugaev, launching the mining in Kvaisa will give the town a new life. Being of the same opinion, President Tibilov has noted that the mine has a huge potential, but the main goal of the country's leadership is taking care of the residents who are living and working here, especially of the young people.
"We have to create all conditions for them, it will also be a great contribution to the economy of the country", - said Tibilov.
Today, representatives of South Ossetia and the Russian delegation visited several social facilities in Kvaisa.
During the two-day visit, the interagency working group is planning to inspect the reconstruction process and the new construction of social facilities and infrastructure provided in the investment program on promoting socio-economic development of South Ossetia in 2012-2013.
