Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia David Sanakoev is planning to pay an official visit to the Russian Federation on October 8-9.
As the news agency "Res" has been reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, during the visit, the head of the South Ossetian Foreign Minister will hold talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on topical issues of bilateral relations, including preparations for the upcoming official visit to Russia by the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov.
Besides, the sides will discuss the situation in the South Caucasus, ways to strengthen the Russian-South Ossetian cooperation in the international arena, including the participation of the delegations of the two countries in the Geneva discussions on security and stability in the Caucasus.
