A meeting of students and lecturers of the South-Ossetian State University named after A.A. Tibilov with a delegation of the Dagestani State University has been held in Tskhinval.
The guests were welcomed by a dean of the Russian philology faculty Alice Gagloeva.
"Since the August war in 2008 the Dagestani and Ossetian peoples have become sworn brothers. We appreciate your help in those difficult times for South Ossetia and always welcome such honorable guests, "- said Gagloeva.
According to a representative of the Dagestani delegation Khasan Ataev, they arrived in the country to participate in the Congress of People's Party of South Ossetia.
"We have come to Tskhinval not for the first time, and every time we get great pleasure from the meetings with friendly Ossetian people. This time we have come to support the People's Party, "- said Ataev.
In turn, a lecturer of the Dagestani State University Fatima Gajiyeva said that South Ossetia had the potential to be a prosperous tourist state.
"There is wonderful nature here, the beauty of the majestic mountains fascinate all visitors of South Ossetia. This beautiful part of the earth deserves its beauty to be admired by the whole world. And I think that tourism can become one of the main sectors of the economy of South Ossetia,"- said Gajiyeva.
