Weightlifter from South Ossetia Alexander Kasabiev will participate in the international tournament for the prizes of the Polish weightlifting club named after President of the Weightlifting Federation of Poland Simon Koletsky. As the coach of the athlete Inal Kasabiev told IA "Res", "The competition will be held at the end of January. Our athlete will perform in the weight class up to 105 kg. He is currently training for the tournament in the Polish city of Chehanovo. We expect his successful performance."
South Ossetian weightlifter is 19 years old. He is a member of the national team of North Ossetia-Alania, the winner of the Russian students’ sports contest, the winner of the championship 2012 among sportsmen up to 20 years old, as well as the winner of the championship of the Southern Federal District in 2012.
The weightlifter is trained in Vladikavkaz by Inal Kasabiev and Khasan Tibilov.
