The President of South Ossetia has received the Russian Deputy Interior Minister

Today in Tskhinval South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has received Deputy Interior Minister of Russia Igor Zubov,
who is in the Republic on a working visit. The meeting was attended by the South Ossetian Interior Minister Akhsar
Lavoev.
The head of state has welcomed the guests, noting that the cooperation between the law enforcement authorities of South
Ossetia and Russia has been actively developing.
During the meeting Leonid Tibilov told of his working visit to Moscow and the meetings with the head of the Russian
Presidential Administration, Sergei Ivanov, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin
and Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation for socio-economic cooperation with the CIS countries, Abkhazia
and South Ossetia Tatyana Golikova.
"In the course of these meetings were held the detailed discussions of plans for the further development of cooperation
between our countries," - said the president.
In turn, Igor Zubov has said that during his visit he held meetings with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and learned its
material and technical resources.
"The work on the implementation of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements on the maintenance of a public
order is ongoing. We have discussed a number of measures relating to the progress from the provision of logistical
support and assistance in the maintenance of a public order, to the joint work on specific criminal cases,"- said Zubov.
