Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Alan Kochiev has received the Сounsellor of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of South Ossetia Gil Marco Casanova and the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of South Ossetia Maria Gabriela Ruiz, who arrived in Tskhinval on a working visit.
As IA "Res" was informed at the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, "during the meeting, held in a friendly atmosphere, the sides exchanged views on further development of bilateral relations, was confirmed mutual desire for further expansion and improvement of practical cooperation in socio-economic and cultural field between Venezuela and South Ossetia."
October 1 the Embassy officers also met with the faculty and students of the South Ossetian State University, where Maria Gabriela Ruiz delivered a lecture "Achievements of the Bolivarian revolution of Venezuela in culture." Then was the screening of the film about Venezuela. They also met with teachers and students of the Lyceum of Arts.
In the course of the visit the guests visited the memorial places of the Republic and laid flowers.
