Since the last meeting conducted in the framework of the mechanisms for preventing and responding to incidents (IPRM), for violation of the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia were detained six people, - told reporters the head of the South Ossetian delegation David Sanakoev after the meeting, held within the framework of the IPRM in the village of Ergneti.

"For the current period, for violating the state border were detained six citizens of Georgia, four of whom were deported to the territory of the neighboring state after the relevant procedures, - Sanakoev said. - Two other citizens will also be handed over to the Georgian authorities in the near future. "

According to Sanakoev, at the last meeting were discussed issues related to the damage of the information signs at the state border by burning of grass on the Georgian side.

"We discussed the need for the relevant works on the borderline, fire-prevention measures, - Sanakoev said."

Sanakoev has added that in the course of the meeting were also raised the issues related to the delimitation and demarcation of the state border.

"It was discussed how knowing of the border line will facilitate the life of the residents of the border areas, - said the head of the South Ossetian delegation. - We, for our part, will continue to equip the border unilaterally, until the Georgian side is ready to work together on this issue. "
