South Ossetian Ambassador to Russia Znaur Gassiev received in the building of the South Ossetian diplomatic mission a deputy from the United Russia party, the world champion in jiu-jitsu and grappling, the mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jeff Monson.
During the warm and friendly meeting, the possibility of opening a wrestling and jiu-jitsu section in the capital of South Ossetia under the direct supervision of Monson was discussed.
Znaur Gassiev invited Jeff Monson to visit the Republic on a study trip.
The deputy gratefully accepted the Ambassador's invitation and expressed a desire to visit Ossetia in September.
