Further cooperation within the framework of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Crimea and the Government of South Ossetia was discussed at the meeting between the South Ossetian Ambassador Znaur Gassiev and the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov.
The discussion focused on the implementation of the Agreement on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation, according to the Information and Press Service of the Head of the Republic of Crimea.
Sergey Aksyonov has emphasized that Crimea and South Ossetia have long-standing friendly relations.
"Over the past years, in accordance with our Agreement, a number of events have been implemented in the fields of economics, education, and culture. We regularly exchange information on a wide range of issues. I am confident that our joint work will continue," the Head of the Republic has noted.
In turn, Znaur Gassiev, on behalf of the people of South Ossetia and President Alan Gagloev, expressed gratitude to Sergei Aksyonov for their joint efforts aimed at the benefit of both republics and their residents.
Gassiev noted the attention that representatives of the South Ossetian leadership are always given in Crimea during the official visits.
