Anatoly Bibilov, the incoming President of the Republic of South Ossetia, swore an oath on the Constitution of the Republic.
The Chairman of the Central Election Committee of South Ossetia Bella Plieva presented Anatoly Bibilov with the certificate of the President of the Republic.
The inauguration ceremony is taking place at the stadium in Tskhinval, where thousands of people gathered. Among those invited to the event are the head of North Ossetia Vyacheslav Bitarov, the head of the LNR Igor Plotnitsky, the Prime Minister of Abkhazia Beslan Bartsits, the Speaker of the Parliament of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin, the delegations of the State Duma and Federation Council, EMERCOM of Russia, Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh.
The inauguration ceremony is also attended by the current president of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov, the first and second presidents of the Republic - Ludwig Chibirov and Eduard Kokoity.
