South Ossetia is establishing ties with the oldest state in Europe

Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation with the deputies of the Republic of San Marino. As reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia, on October 17, Medoev met with Alessandro Bevitori, Сhairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Parliament of the Republic of San Marino, and a group of MPs from the majority party in the San Marino Parliament, the left-wing Social Democrats.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in the area of inter-party and inter-parliamentary relations, establishing contacts in the economic and cultural fields.
The Republic of San Marino is one of the smallest states in the world and the oldest state in Europe.
