The IBF World Heavyweight Champion Murat Gassiev has become among the nominees of the V National Star Boxing Award. Winners of the February 2017 prize in Moscow will be awarded for achievements in professional boxing.
The Organizing Committee of the National Prize conducts a traditional poll on the website of AKBOXING.RU: "Who will win in the nomination" Knockout of the Year ".
Our compatriot Murat Gassiev is also participating in the poll.
October 21, 2017 in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey (USA) Murat Gassiev knocked out the ex-world champion, Polish Krzysztof Wlodarczyk in the second minute of the third round.
The well-known Russian boxers Alexey Papin, Dmitry Bivol, Maxim Vlasov are also taking part in the nomination.
"Knockout of the year - is awarded for the best (clean) or spectacular knockout of the rival. We offer boxing fans to participate in the preliminary poll: Who is the author of the "Knockout of the Year"? Voting results will be taken into account at the final determination of the winner, "- is said on the website AKBOXING.RU.
The survey will be conducted on the website until January 31 inclusive.
February 3 in Sochi Murat Gassiev will fight with Cuban Junier Dorticos within the framework of the World Boxing WBSS super-series semifinals. The match, of course, will be an important event in the world boxing.
