President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov said that the cooperation with the Luhansk People's Republic should be intensified.
According to the presidential press service, having received the Minister of Economic Development of the RSO Gennady Kokoev who paid a working visit to the LPR, Bibilov has given a positive assessment of the dynamics of interaction with the Luhansk People's Republic, stressing the importance of such working trips for both republics.
"It is necessary to build up our contacts, develop all spheres of life of our republics. We will work closely with both the leadership and the business circles of the Luhansk People's Republic," - stressed the South Ossetian President.
Minister of Economic Development of the Republic Gennady Kokoev, talking about the results of the meetings of the South Ossetian delegation, handed over to the head of state an invitation of the acting President of the Luhansk People's Republic Leonid Pasechnik to visit the LPR.
According to the minister, the working trip of the delegation of South Ossetia was productive.
"The purpose of the visit is to continue contacts with the economic bloc of the government of the Luhansk People's Republic, which began in late September, 2017 at the second economic forum of the Luhansk People's Republic. In other words, this was the next stage in the development of relations with the Luhansk People's Republic, " - said Gennady Kokoev.
He has noted that during the visit the South Ossetian delegation held meetings with the Chairman of the People's Council of the Luhansk People's Republic Denis Miroshnichenko, the head of the administration of the city of Luhansk Manolis Pilavov, the heads of departments of the economic bloc and other officials.
Gennady Kokoev has clarified, that during the talks were discussed options for developing relations between the two republics in various spheres of life.
