Bibilov presented Putin and Medvedev with the highest award of South Ossetia

Presentation of the highest state award of South Ossetia to the Russian President took place during the meeting of the leaders of the two countries in Moscow, the press-secretary of the head of state Dina Gassieva reports.
As emphasized in the decree of the President of the RSO, the Order of Watsamonga was presented to Vladimir Putin "in recognition of his exceptional personal role in repelling the armed aggression of Georgia against the Republic of South Ossetia, and in approving the sovereign statehood of the Republic of South Ossetia."

The Order of Watsamonga was also presented to the head of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev "in recognition of outstanding merits in repelling Georgia's aggression against the Republic of South Ossetia, as well as personal contribution to the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia."
It should be noted that the meeting between of Anatoly Bibilov and Vladimir Putin was held on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the recognition of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation.
