Foreign Ministers of South Ossetia and Russia will hold talks in Moscow

The meeting of foreign ministers of Russia and South Ossetia, which will be held on November 12 in Moscow, will discuss key issues of Russian-South Ossetian relations, TASS reports, citing the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

According to Zakharova, the head of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia, Dmitry Medoev, will be in Moscow on a three-day working visit.

“November 10-13, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia will visit Moscow with a working visit. During the talks scheduled for November 12, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his South Ossetian counterpart will hold a thorough exchange of views on key issues on the bilateral relations agenda,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman.

Zakharova has added that the parties will also discuss strengthening the international positions of South Ossetia and interaction at the Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia
