The Russian version of Forbes magazine has launched an annual rating of “30 to 30”, within which it will determine the worthiest Russians under the age of 30. These are entrepreneurs, managers, athletes, musicians, scientists.
“Our heroes are those who, by the age of 30, gained recognition in the professional community and became known at the All-Russian or even global level,” the official website Forbes reported.
The Ossetian boxer Murat Gassiev was among the 100 nominees.
“26 victories, including 19 by knockout, and 1 loss - this is how Murat Gassiyev’s resume is in professional boxing. He is an ex-champ of two international boxing organizations in the first heavyweight title. Gassiev trains in the United States, receives support from the Russian Boxing Federation and has a huge supply of health and physical strength. A heavy blow to liver is considered to be a visiting card of the boxer,” Forbes writes about Gassiev.
The long-list also included figure skater Alina Zagitova, MMA fighter Habib Nurmagomedov, midfielder of the Russian national football team Alexander Golovin and many others. From this list, the jury and the editors will choose the top 30.
It has been noted that at present Murat Gassiev has fully recovered from the injury and is preparing for his next fight. The name of his opponent is still unknown.
