Crimea and South Ossetia in the framework of the V Yalta International Economic Forum, which will be held April 17-21, will conclude a cooperation agreement, said the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian region - the permanent representative of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov.

"An agreement is being planned between the Republic of Crimea of ​​the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia on trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation," Muradov said.

He has clarified that the Crimea can share with South Ossetia experience in the development of agriculture, in particular viticulture, and in the organization of processing of agricultural products. "Our South Ossetian colleagues are interested in the development of viticulture, they have excellent conditions for the development of this direction. Probably, they will want to adopt our practices, to draw our ideas for the development of viticulture and winemaking," the agency official said.

According to him, representatives of South Ossetia may also be interested in the experience of the Crimea in the processing of essential oil crops, from which substances for the cosmetic and perfume industries are obtained. "Our findings for South Ossetia are very interesting. We can also provide assistance in the field of education and training of students, in the field of culture," said Muradov.

In addition, the republics plan to develop the tourism sector. “We are waiting for the residents of South Ossetia in the Crimea, soon it will be possible to get here by rail from Vladikavkaz,” the permanent representative said.

A delegation from South Ossetia participated in the Yalta International Economic Forum a year ago, then the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov and President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov signed a protocol on bilateral trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation. This was the first cooperation document between South Ossetia and the Republic of Crimea. Aksenov then announced that the signing of the protocol would be followed by the signing of a cooperation agreement.

Earlier it was reported that the head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov invited the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov to visit the V Yalta International Economic Forum, the invitation was conveyed by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea - permanent representative of the Republic under the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov at the international conference "Crimea in modern geopolitics - five years of the Crimea spring".

The Fifth Yalta International Economic Forum will be held in Crimea on April 17-21. More than 3 thousand participants from 100 countries have been invited to the Forum/.
