A delegation of South Ossetia headed by President Anatoly Bibilov will take part in the V Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF 2019) in Crimea on April 18-19.
According to the Republic’s Foreign Ministry, "within the framework of the Forum, it is planned to sign the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea (Russian Federation) on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation and the Agreement on the establishment of twin-city relations between the administration of the city of Tskhinval (Republic of South Ossetia) and the Municipal Formation city district Kerch of the Republic of Crimea (Russian Federation).
The Foreign Ministry notes that Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Dmitry Medoev left on Monday for the preparation of organizational measures for the visit of President Anatoly Bibilov to the Crimea.
The Foreign Minister made a short-term stop in the city of Kerch, where he met with the head of the municipal formation of the city district Kerch N. Gusakov and the head of the administration of the city of Kerch - S. Borozdin.
During the conversation were discussed prospects and plans for expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields. Special attention was paid to the development of business and economic relations at the regional level. Participants of the conversation also touched upon specific issues of the upcoming signing.
The main theme of the V Yalta International Economic Forum will be "Peace. Russia. Crimea. New World Reality". The event will be attended by representatives from more than 100 countries. A large number of discussions are expected on topical issues of the global, national and regional agenda.
