The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation approved a cooperation agreement between the Crimea and South Ossetia

The Russian government approved the conclusion of a cooperation agreement between the Crimea and South Ossetia, follows from the order published on the official portal of legal information.

"To agree with the proposal of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea to conclude an agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea and the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation," the document says.

Earlier it was reported that a cooperation agreement between the Crimea and South Ossetia was the first document signed at the Yalta International Economic Forum.

The agreement was signed by the head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov and the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov. The document covers trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. In addition, the parties signed an action plan for the implementation of the agreement for 2019-2022.

The Yalta International Economic Forum is an annual business event in the economic sphere held in Crimea. In 2019, the forum is being held from April 18 to April 20. The organizers expect more than 3 thousand participants from about 100 countries of the world. MIA "Russia Today" is the general information partner of the Forum.
